Dr. Delmar Childs Dr. Delmar Childs : DVM

Dr. Childs is a native of Salida, Colorado. He graduated from Colorado State University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1990 and then graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 1994 with the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Childs has been practicing veterinary medicine in Davison since 1995. He is proficient at many different types of surgery but his real passion lies with orthopedics. Dr. Childs is one of the only veterinarians in the area that is trained in the interlocking nail technique and Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA).

Dr. Childs enjoys his work. He loves working with pets of any size, and is the type of doctor that will take the time to sit down and explain what is going on and how to take care of the situation. The type of care and compassion he gives is above and beyond.

Cindy Childs Cindy Childs : Business Manager

Cindy Childs is a 1991 graduate from Michigan State University. She has a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Recreational Program Management. For the past four years she has run Cindel Farms in Davison and has been a full time Mom since 1995. She was very excited to put her marketing and management skills to work at Childs Veterinary Clinic.

Ann Bruno Ann Bruno : Licensed Veterinary Technician

Ann has been a National and State Board Certified licensed Technician for the past 18 years.  She graduated in 1998 with an associate degree in Veterinary Medicine from St. Petersburg College in Florida.  Her expertise lies with animal behavior.  Ann finds it very rewarding to work with pets and people for a career. Ann and her daughter have their dogs Timber, Paris, Scrappy and Stitch and their cats Mittens and Michigan.

Shannon Lohr Shannon Lohr : Licensed Veterinary Technician
Shannon is a fantastic addition to Childs Veterinary Clinic.  She is a national and state board certified licensed Veterinary Technician that graduated from Baker College in 2005.  Her positive attitude and sense of humor brings a smile to everyones face.  She resides in Davison with her fiance and her Alaskan Malamutes Hermann, Everest, Nukka and her cat Lunchbox.

Kimberlyn Petty Kimberlyn Petty : Veterinary Technician Assistant
Kimberlyn is a full time student at University of Michigan-Flint and has plans of becoming a veterinarian. Kim started as a volunteer and was hired a few months later because of her amazing way she has with animals. She really enjoys her job as a veterinary assistant. She has two cats named Barnabas and Alice.

Shay Hill Shay Hill : Customer Service Specialist
Shay is a 2013 graduate of Davison High School. You may recognize her from all the animals she has shown at the County Fair. The list includes Grand Champion lambs, hogs and beef. Shay has started a pet sitting business called Stay with Shay. During her free time she enjoys training her Golden Retrievers Reed and River in AKC hunt test and field work. Shay also co owns an AKC German Shepard imported from Germany named Zima. She trains Zima in Schutzhund, which is protection work. Eventually Shay hopes to become a breeder for police dogs.

Katie Dienen Katie Dienen : Customer Service Specialist
Katie has lived in Davison for the past 15 years.  She and her husband raise Siberian Huskies and pastor for a local church. Katie has been in customer service for 10 years. You might recognize her from Bronners in Frankenmuth! She has always had a love for animals. Her hobbies include traveling, singing and interior design. With Katie's friendly outgoing personality, she is a perfect addition to the front desk.
